CANCELLATION OR MODIFICATION POLICY ON COVID-19
Recognizing the ongoing and increased uncertainty that coronavirus (COVID-19) is causing around the world, our highest priority is and always will be the health and well-being of our guests and employees. At this time, many countries have strong travel restrictions in place. The United States implemented travel restrictions that are currently suspending the entry of most foreign nationals which includes European countries known as Schengen Area, including: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. Most recently, the US announced additional restrictions for The UK & Ireland.
As a result, we received many inquiries regarding the flexibility of payment, modification & cancellation terms beyond this 30‐day period. Naturally, we have made a commitment to our customers that The Cova hotel will do the very best to facilitate cancellations and modifications. During these unprecedented times, our reservations team will be assisting if you need to cancel or change specific reservations. All communication should be via email at email@example.com. Please include your booking number or confirmation number from the online travel agency; arrival and departure date; Last and First name. We are waiving cancellation fees for any existing and new bookings at our Hotel for stays between March 12th, 2020 and February 28, 2021.
For Advance Purchase Rate and non-refundable reservations for travel through February 28, 2021:
Special exceptions are in place for all Advance Purchase Rate non-refundable reservations made directly with The Cova hotel or any online travel agency on or before March 12th, 2020 for arrivals up to February 28, 2021, we will accommodate date changes up to December 31, 2022. Any guests who are unable to fulfill their travel plans due to recent travel bans may rebook their reservations for a later date.
For bookings beyond February 28, 2021 we want to remind you of the flexibility already built into our rates and packages that allow our guests to amend travel plan as necessary. Our Best available Rate allows our guests to change or cancel their reservation up to one day prior to arrival.
Given the health and safety risks posed by COVID-19, we ask all guests to review your local authorities' travel guidance and health advisories related to this outbreak.
